In a letter,1846 March 17, Emery Bissell discusses an order for an extension apparatus for Roe's spling. In a letter, 1846 May 28, J.S. Seymour informs his brother that he has received two boxes of splints which he will be taking into Kentucky, suggests that another salesman go to Tennessee, and requests that his next shipment be made to Maysville, Ky.
